What exactly does "binding" mean for dearly decision? Like legally bound to pay tuition if admitted? Does that mean the same thing for all schools?

Yes, binding refers to signing a contract with the university that if admitted you will withdraw all other applications and commit to that university. Getting out of these binding contracts is difficult. Also keep in mind that you are making this commitment before knowing if any scholarships will be offered.

We have transferred my husbands GI Bill to my son which will cover his tuition for all 4 years.. Should we seek out the Military/Veteran representatives on a campus prior to applying? Is the admissions process handled any differently? Thank you
